The Perfect BOTOX® for You:
Crows Feet:
Crow’s feet, the wrinkles that form around the outer corner of your eyes as you age, are one of the most common areas Pinnacle’s cosmetic patients seek to treat.
The orbicular oculi muscle is what moves when you smile or squint. Treating this muscle helps produce a natural result. Many patients seek this procedure as a preventative treatment just as they begin seeing signs of aging.
Eyebrows:
Can BOTOX® lift your eyebrows and upper eyelids without surgery? This simple procedure makes your eyes look less tired and gives you an instant mini-browlift.
Considering BOTOX® treatment requires little to no downtime or lingering pain, it’s no wonder patients with mild to moderate sagging above their eyes choose this option. A non-surgical eyebrow lift is one of the most popular treatment areas and one of the best places for Botox injections.
However, if you have eyelid skin that hangs over your eyes and inhibits your vision (ptosis), Botox may not be the best treatment option. Talk to your dermatologist about whether BOTOX® is a viable option to achieve the results you want.
Lip Lines or Upper Lip:
The vertical lines above and below your lips, sometimes called lipstick or smoker’s lines, can be a frustrating and telltale sign of skin aging. However, you can gently soothe these wrinkles by having small amounts of Botox injected into the orbicularis oris, the muscles used when you pucker.
With regular targeted treatment, not only will your lines recover, but you also help prevent new lines from forming. Dermal fillers can also treat lip lines and are sometimes recommended in conjunction with Botox. However, BOTOX® treatment alone is sometimes a viable choice.
Another good place for BOTOX® is between the upper lip and nose. This helps reduce what is known as a “gummy smile” by slightly limiting movement in your upper lip. Since confident smiles can be such a huge boost, ask your provider to help you get your best grin.
Marionette Lines:
Marionette lines are the wrinkles that run from the corners of your mouth to your chin. They can also start near the nasolabial folds, the area near the lower corners of your nose, extending to your mouth.
As we age, these lines become more apparent, grow deeper, and can make it look like you’re always upset or wearing a permanent frown. The muscles these injections target are called the depressor anguli oris. To ensure the best possible results, your doctor may recommend a combination of BOTOX® and an injectable filler.
